The 2012 AARP Life@50+ National Event and Expo will be held at the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, September 20-22. These celebrities and many more will conduct all sorts of entertaining events including lifestyle sessions (Gibbons), cooking demonstrations (Chase, Michel Richard), feature sessions (Carville, Marino, Mickey Hart, Tyson, Vereen), and university sessions (Sally Abrams, Carol Levine).
There will also be a live performances at the convention center from the Grammy Award winning American jazz-fusion band Hiroshima in addition to performances from jazz musician Casey Abrams, New Orleans musical icon Grandpa Elliott, the Soul Rebels and the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band. But perhaps the biggest event of all will be the appearances of Grammy Ward winning singers Stevie Nicks, Gladys Knight and Melissa Etheridge in a concert sponsored by the AARP at the New Orleans Arena, Saturday night.
