Well before the fun of the Super Bowl in New Orleans begins next February, Arena Bowl returns to the New Orleans Arena Friday August 10 to kick off the 2012 season.

The upcoming AFL championship in New Orleans will the 25th Arena Bowl and unfortunately the New Orleans Voodoo have already been eliminated from the playoffs against the top ranked team in the Eastern Division, the Philadelphia Soul. Despite the absence of the Voodoo at their home arena for the AFL Championship, a large turnout of well over 17,000 fans is still expected at AFL XXV.
